Senior Acoustic Consultant

To support our continued growth we are looking to expand our teams. We
are currently seeking a Senior Acoustic Consultant in our San Francisco
Office. This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to have
International involvement in prestigious projects, opportunity to travel
and work in other International Arup offices, use of the SoundLab as a
design tool, as well as be part of the management of a growing acoustics
group with exciting multidisciplinary projects!
The right candidate will have at least 7 years experience of acoustic
project design as lead designer/project manager and will have the
following experience:
* Ability to meet with clients and explain acoustic concepts.
* Ability to deliver work to agreed deadlines.
* Experienced in proposal writing and project fee costing at
project inception, and the associated post-award project management of
fees, schedule, and deliverables during project design and construction
phases.
* Broad range of project types in portfolio; Corporate,
Educational, Commercial, Performing Arts.
Requirements
* Familiar with standard Microsoft Office programs; Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, etc.
* Familiar with acoustic modeling packages such as CATT and
EASE.
* Familiar with the basics of audio systems.
* Degree qualified (in acoustics or science based degree) and
have achieved professional qualification
* Extensive knowledge of the fundamentals of acoustics and noise
control and current acoustics standards, policies and regulations
