Acoustic Engineering position – Noise Control Engineering Inc. www.noise-control.com:

Opening for:

Entry level engineer interested in developing as a Noise and Vibration specialist. Projects include evaluation, control and measurement of noise and vibration levels in marine and industrial designs. Candidate will develop noise models for marine vessels, using NCE's proprietary Designer NOISE Modeling System. Other duties include field trips to conduct noise and vibration measurements, diagnostics and compliance tests at both marine and industrial sites.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

BS to MS in Engineering or Physics with course work in Acoustics Experience with computer modeling and Excel. Familiarity and lab work with acoustic instrumentation Strong creative, analytical, and problem solving skills. Capable of working with a team. Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.
