Acoustics Consultant

Acoustic Dimensions is currently seeking an Acoustics Consultant to join our team in New Rochelle, NY. Preferred background would include 3+ years experience in acoustics consulting (room acoustic design; sound isolation, mechanical noise control, environmental acoustics). The successful applicant may also be a student just completing his/her education in acoustics, architecture, mechanical engineering, or other related degree programs. Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must. Experience with AutoCAD necessary. Experience with acoustic modeling (EASE, CATT, Odeon, etc.), testing (SMAART, MLSSA, etc.) and/or 3D Modeling (Revit, Sketchup, Rhino, etc.) software a plus.
