Job Description:
The University of Mississippi National Center for Physical Acoustics (NCPA) invites applications for a Research and Development Engineer position with the NCPA Physical Ultrasonics Group. The duties of this position
include: supervision of laboratory operations, engineering support for the group's activities, and participation in data acquisition and analysis. The use of modern techniques of biomedical ultrasonics/vibration acoustics
and a capability to learn new experimental methods is needed. Experience in development and/or characterization of sonic/ultrasonic transducers is preferred. The applicant (s) will also be expected to provide expertise and
guidance to graduate students and collaborate with other group members in the design and construction of devices. Qualifications include a Master's degree in Engineering (or a Bachelor's degree and at least four years of

Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Engineering (or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Engineering and at least 4 years of related experience)
The candidate should be able to obtain a U.S. Security clearance.
